How do you work?
We perform our services on a project basis, as a service-for-fee.
To start a project, please contact us, ideally before data collection, so that feedback on the experimental design that will have consequences for your analysis can be taken into account. When your needs are clear and without our scope, you will receive a quote to be accepted by the Principle Investigator. Additional requests might require updating the original quote, or creating a new project. Prices are based on the expected workload, and sometimes on a predefined price per dataset. Please contact us (see below) to estimate costs and availability.
(How) can I contact you?
Our team is available to discuss your project, or if you want to discuss anything data. Please send your questions to the following email address, so that the right people can respond. If you don’t see what you need, feel free to mail Stephen Whitmarsh (operational manager) or Violetta Zuvojic (scientific director).
dac_omics@icm-institute.org for any questions related to the analysis of omics data, from WGS, WES, to epigenetics, ATACseq, methylation, to bulk RNAseq, single-cell RNAseq, miRNA, lncRNA and Spatial Transcriptomics. Please use this form to request analysis services.
dac_image@icm-institute.org for any questions related to the processing or analysis of image and imaging data, including quality assesment and enhancement, image segmentation (from brain regions, cell tissues, to (sub)cellular), morphological feature extraction, and image patching&stiching, (co)registration, and (3D) reconstruction and visualisation.
dac_statistics@icm-institute.org for any questions regarding statistical evaluations, analysis and modelling, from power analysis to mixed models, the creation of statistical analysis plans and reviewing your methological approuc.
DMP@icm-institute.org for any questions regarding the design of Data Management Plans (DMPs).
REDCAP@icm-institute.org for any questions regarding the creation and management of electronic Care Report Files (eCRF) and electronic data capturing (EDC) using REDCap.
How can I stay in touch about your events?
We communicate our events, such as trainings, discussion groups, conferences, user meetings, Bring Your Own Data (BYOD) settings, etc., through several channels: mailinglists (see below), the Paris Brain Institute weekly email newsletter, the intranet page, posters across the Institute and this website.
How can we sign up to your mailinglists?
Please send an email with the subject [Mailinglist subscription] to any of the following groups: dac_omics, dac_image, dac_statistics.
How can I request new services?
We are here to listen. We try to anticipate new challenges and developments, from technologies to research domains. If you have specific data processing needs not yet provided by the DAC please contact Stephen Whitmarsh or Violetta Zuvojic.
We occationally provide online questionnaires that prove the needs of the researchers at the Institute, and beyond. Please find the open questionnaires below:
